She woke up from a dream with a song in her head, and from there, it all began...
Mysterious and intangible, Anie Fann can disappear on you before you even notice. Introverted and softspoken by nature, she had always been labeled the quiet girl, but her passion in music led her to discover that she had a lot to say. As a storyteller, she welcomes you to explore life as SHE knows it: with a pinch of unrequited love, a dash of self destruction, and a whole lot of electronica. She and her music are hard to define, but she likes things complicated. You can expect no less from a Pisces.
Like most people, she didn't start out knowing what she wanted to do. After graduating from college and going through a series of jobs, it wasn't long before her love for music caught up with her and she decided to focus on creating and recording her own music. In the confines of her bedroom that she built into a simple home studio, Anie recorded and shared her music to anyone who would listen, but it wouldn't be until a year later before she started to get people's attention.
In Fall of 2007, Anie directed and shot a music video for "The Bird Song (should I hold on)", a song which she also wrote, with a Sony handycam and a few friends and family members. In spite of its amateur nature, it was through the music video that she came to the attention of Hummingbird Music after submitting it into a contest. From there, Anie joins the Hummingbird family and begins another chapter of her life, but her goal remains the same:
Johnny & Eeyore is a band of 60's MOD image whose music is transforming from early soft rock (as in our Single CD) to the now post-punk revival/new wave stuff. We are currently recording our new E.P.. Stayed tuned!
Not exclusively bound by one form of music or another Paper Scissor Stone Band brings you folk / folk rock / classic rock covers from the 50's right on thru to the present....on ocassion you might even find the odd country or blues tune thrown in the mix. With acoustic, electric guitars and vocals with great harmonies we try to perform music that most audiences might be familiar with. We can go from a soft ballad by Dan Fogelberg, make a 180 degree turn, do a rocker by Brian Adams and then launch into an guitar intense live acoustic version of Hotel California by the Eagles. Couple that with our favorite Beatle, Bob Dylan, and Eric Clapton tunes, we hope everybody will find something that will make them want to hear more and more..... Bilbao) for Europe.

TING BU DONG is a special project of four acclaimed international musicians who previously worked together in Taiwan, China, and Munich. Ting Bu Dong performs a striking blend of adventurous rock, modern jazz, and electronic soundscapes, electro-jazz, unique adaptations of Chinese traditional themes, and plenty of fiery improvisation. The Unrelentless mine the greatest pop of the last 40 years from Phil Spector to Abba and beyond, then play it like their a**es depend on it. Think Ramones meets Chris Issak meets your mom at a bar. Think alcohol. Choose absurdity. Come smile at them or with them.
Retributive Justice was formed by ex-members of Formaldehyde, Dennis (v/g) and Ben (b) back in the end of 2005, and its Thrash Metal style which is rarely seen in Taiwan. In the meanwhile, accomplished by a experienced and professional drummer, Steely (d), RJ now has finally been able to carry on the love of Thrash Metal and to deliver good quality of Thrash sound.
The three have rehearsed as hard as they can though they all have day jobs to do. In addition to enhance their skill, they would like to deliver some ¡¥80s thrash classics to the metal-heads in order to show the roots of present extreme metal scene in Taiwan.
RJ has played several gigs in Hsin Chu. Its outrageous and crazy performance drew much attention, and RJ has built up its leading reputation in the Taiwanese Thrash Metal scene since then. On the other hand, the addition of Frank (g) makes the band flawless at its sound without any compromise.
Just like every famous band in the world, RJ started by covering its idols¡¦ sound. It is important that a band should improve by learning the classics and try to gain large following in the beginning and after that, it can start to create its own sound. RJ is in writing mode and plan to add more and more brand new songs into the set list in the near future. An ambitious goal is to show no mercy and deliver brutal, fast and furious Thrash Metal to the rest of the world.

Singer Pe Fung's inspiration comes from the things that happen to her in life. She can't define her style, so she uses "mayonnaise" to describe her music.
Singer and Guitarist David Chen and harmonica player Conor Prunty play down-home, foot-stompin' country blues in the spirit of late greats such as Robert Johnson, Bo Carter, Leadbelly, Sonny Terry, and Mississipi Fred McDowell. The pair are perhaps best-known for their musical antics as part of the Muddy Basin Ramblers.

David Foster has grown a loyal fan base in South Africa since recording his brilliant first album, Flat to Round and releasing it a little more than 2 years ago. Dave traveled to Taiwan a few months after recording his second album, titled "LIVE! And at home." Two tracks from the album are at present playlisted on Taiwan's own ICRT fm100 as well as more than ten stations in his native South Africa.
He is a polished songsmith, an honest lyricist and an enthralling and passionate performer. Most recently Dave has become a bit of a TV star following his adventures with the unlikely hit travel show, "Going Nowhere Slowly," for which he was a presenter in the show's second and third seasons.
Lily C is back with the latest incarnation of her band "·sÂAªÅ®ð" . Adding a touch of funk to her jazzy pop styles, this is "music you can breathe", without the artificial stuff. Nagano Masataka - Taka is a square headed typical Japanese businessman. He loves talking about sheepshearing, but is easily confused when others are telling jokes. Speak slowly and nod politely.
Cara Speckhals - Cara played with Barbies until she was 14. Her current obsessions include Vespas, Stephen Colbert, and trying to make Taka laugh.
THE DEADLY VIBES are a three piece rock and roll band that have been spreading the gospel of country fueled high energy good time R&R though out most of Taiwan's watering holes for just over a year now. After traveling Taiwan's Rock & Roll highway for more than three years, playing anything from farmers markets to a Saturday night slot at Spring Scream, geek rockers THE DAYMAKERS (Texas twins JD and JT Long, along with Jay Copps) have now revealed their love for country music, garage rock swagger, and beer drinking blues! THE DEADLY VIBES have been compared to early Johnny Cash, CCR, The black keys, and Jon Spencer blues Explosion, but they think "if Howlin¡¡Â Wolf was in a rock and roll band or if AC/DC were in an old western" says it best
The Hindsight features members of now defunct HINDSIGHT 20/20 and VANISH. The style is Emo-core. Three are Taiwanese while the drummer is from New Zealand. They have been playing around Taipei for about 5 months.

They don¡¦t come in peace - the Antagonauts play pop rock like you¡¦ve never heard before. And they¡¦re already causing a scene in the bars and clubs of Taipei. Originally a team of three songwriters, the Antagonauts weave unforgettable melodies into a dynamic stage performance. Diverse yet unified, the sound is hard-hitting and anything but cliché. Call it neo prog emotive indie math rock or call it fiddle faddle. Either way there is no denying that Hijack The Disco are doing something that few have attempted. We continue to be the type of people who believe the marriage of politics and music is a great way to both express our views and ensure obscurity in a land saturated with candy pop idols. Everyone really likes to hear "it's okay", and that life will be perfect if you just fall in love. Largely because we're jaded old men who have never experienced this emotion called "love" the idols sing of, we've decided to vent our rage and air our inadequacies in the form of (Punk, indie, rock, emo, choose whichever label makes you comfortable) music.
