Japanese drummer, Dafu Ganshi has put together a swinging trio featuring Kinya on bass and Terry on tenor sax. Stop by to hear something fresh and different. 以推廣生活藝術為宗旨的aacca(台北市生活藝術國際交流學會)將與黑人劇團共同主辦, 定六月份為黑色藝術月,推廣黑色族群文化與介紹優秀的黑人表演者.在台北首度的推出百老匯拉斯維加斯豪華晚宴秀場,6月12日在小客廳揭開序幕,共演出兩場(6月26日)! 這是一場集歌,舞,劇的盛宴,將讓您目不暇給, 驚喜連連!只接受45個訂位.只有小客廳才有的奢華藝術饗宴經驗! Presented in association with aacca (arts and cross cultural association) and BRG (Black Repertory Theater). 演出人員介紹/Featuring: Miss Black Pearl This multi talented San Francisco entertainer is adored by audiences around the world. Her shows are filled with excitement, glamour, charm, high energy, class, humor, and versatility. Black Pearl has performed at top notch Jazz Festivals in Finland and France, billed with legends like BB King, Tony Bennett, Marlena Shaw, Clarence Gate Mouth Brown, Taj Mahal, Chick Corea, Phil Collins, and more, giving phenomenal renditions of the Great Dark Divas of yesterday -- Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Nina Mae McKinney, and Sarah Vaughan to name a few. James Brown has crowned her the only God Daughter of Soul. The White Diamond is Ricardo Canzio, an arranger and composer, as well as a jazz and cabaret pianist. Mr. Canzio is Professor of Musicology at National Taiwan University. Born in Argentina, he has taught and researched music throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas. 演出時間/Time: 9:00pm - 11:00pm 特別感謝全體演職員,此次演出之收入除扣除小客廳之成本外,其餘款項將捐給aacca所扶植之小警察鼓號樂團團費.演員全為無償性演出. Kay和 Hua 原是同一樂團的吉他手和貝斯手組團表演兩年多後,在一次偶然的機會裡,在只有木吉他和電吉他的編制下作了一場小型的演出,在這場表演中,誕生了幾首有別於樂團風格的創作歌曲至2004年底,在累積有十餘首的創作歌曲後,開始自製demo並希望從更多的表演中,和更多人分享Dosed的音樂..... Dosed is a new guitar and vocal duo with a touch of Coldplay sensibility. Nice melodies, interesting lines, a little edge, and lots of cool guitar effects. Stop in at the Living Room to get dosed. 6月19日晚上9點,記得帶著你的熱情來小客廳體驗豐富多元的黑人文化! For the first time in Taiwan, we will celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest-known celebration of the ending of slavery in the US. This celebration originated in Texas in 1865 and has now become an observance across the whole world. This year's event will showcase an evening of live performances from the local Taipei black community including Jazz and African music, hip-hop, spoken word, speeches, sultry singing, live theater, dance, and good vibes all night. This event is presented in association with DAP-Taiwan (Descendants of African People) and aacca (arts and cross cultural association). Come join in commemorating an important day in history and share in the world's richest culture! The Juneteenth performance will be followed by DJ SL spinning "Houston Street" Deep NY House grooves.

Fri 6/11:詭異蘇珊搖滾樂團 Creepy Susan
詭異蘇珊搖滾樂團是一個新進崛起的樂團, 由3位男子1位女子組成.他們在今年四月的春天吶喊音樂季中,剛剛狂吼狂喊過,現在將於本週五在小客廳繼續搖滾吶喊! Creepy Susan is a rock-based post-punk pop influenced band that formed a month before Spring Scream this year and went on to play Friday night on the main weekend. Since then they have been rocking crowds of rambunctious drunks in Taipei at various dives and open stages. After playing under such catchy names as Creepy Susan and My Pet Gibbon, Pet My Creepy Susan, and PMS, they have settled with the name Creepy Susan. Lead singer Alita Rickards is quoted as saying "Creepy Susan is the voice in your head that says 'fill the laundry soap bottle with bleach if your roommates won't stop using it all and never buying more'". Alita (voc), Les (guitar), Jeff (bass), and Tim (drums). They've played a weekend at Spring Scream, and are ready to rock the Living Room. Half the band are Geminis with birthdays coming up, and we expect a few other Gemini musicians to drop by to join the party. If you are a Gemini, maybe you'll get something special from the bar.
