Sahil Mehrotra is a Senior at TAS, and an excellent songwriter. He has been playing guitar for six years and has recently released an 11-track album. He will be sharing some of his latest acoustic emo rock compositions with fellow guitarist Wei Wen.

Two tracks from the album are at present playlisted on Taiwan's own ICRT fm100 as well as more than ten stations in his native South Africa. He is a polished songsmith, an honest lyricist and an enthralling and passionate performer. Most recently Dave has become a bit of a TV star following his adventures with the unlikely hit travel show, "Going Nowhere Slowly," for which he was a presenter in the show's second and third seasons. In tonight's concert, British pianist/composer Hervie Syan will present self- portraits of Twentieth Century painters. Audiences can observe and reflect on these whilst listening to music that engages the paintings. It is an opportunity to participate in an experience where painting and music co-exist, where identities between the painter, performer and observer find common ground and where boundaries between self and other can be identified.
